The Sandusky County Law Library was originally established on February 17, 1898, by members of the Sandusky County Bar Association. Beginning January 1, 2010, legislation created a new entity called the Sandusky County Law Library Resources Board. The Board consists of five members.
The Law Library provides access to legal research, reference, and library services to the county, municipal, townships, and courts within the county.
The library is open to the public by appointment to serve the needs of pro se litigants and individuals who represent themselves. Please call 419-334-6165 to schedule a time. The public may do book research and online research. The staff is not allowed to give legal advice. All research is to be done at the Law Library. No books or other materials may be removed from the library.
